Animal architecture

The design encapsulates areas for rest along with play. The dog house is articulated into a concoction of platforms and view zones placed at strategic points, enabling apt engagement for the animals through various moods and changing daylight patterns throughout the day. Internal spaces enable the animal to move through various levels, providing an opportunity to rest on the solid-wood platform, or cool compressed earth pits below during the hotter seasons.

The design aims to understand the spatio-sensorial particularities of a given non-human agent, rather than defaulting to historical or purely aesthetic design decisions.
